Payment Rules and Regulations regarding publishing the papers in the "International Agrophysics" or "Acta Agrophysica" journals


§ 1


This document shall establish specific rules of payment for article fee, whereas terms defined herein are, as follows:


  1. Institute – Institute of Agrophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences, with its registered office at ul. Doświadczalna 4, Lublin, Poland, registered under NIP* no. 946-18-24-287
    and REGON** no. 000326380;
  2. Journal - "International Agrophysics" (IA) or "Acta Agrophysica" (AA) journal;
  3. Journal Website websites of the journals, for IA: http://www.international-agrophysics.org/, and for AA: http://www.acta-agrophysica.org/
  4. Editorial system Website websites used for submission of the manuscripts to the the IA: https://www.editorialsystem.com/intagro and AA: https://www.editorialsystem.com/aagro journals;
  5. Submitting Author – person who submitted the manuscript to the IA or AA;
  6. Fee – manuscript publication fee;
  7. Electronic Payment – Fee payment made with credit or debit card via PayU;
  8. PayU – company under the business name PayU S.A., with its registered office
    at ul. Grunwaldzka 182, Poznań, Poland, entered into the register of entrepreneurs of National Court Register kept by District Court for the city of Poznań – Nowe Miasto i Wilida under KRS no. 0000274399, NIP no. 779-23-08-495 and REGON no. 300523444;
  9. Payment Rules – Payment Rules and Regulations regarding publishing the papers in the "International Agrophysics" or "Acta Agrophysica" journals;
  10. Regular Money Transfer – bank-to-bank wire transfer other than Electronic Payment.

§ 2


  1. Payment shall be made, at the choice of Submitting Author, via:

  • Regular Money Transfer;
  • Electronic Payment serviced by PayU.

  1. Electronic payment can be made by the Submitting Author having account in the Editorial System accessible from the Editorial System Website.
  2. Tariff of Fees and Fees due dates are available on Journal Website.

 


§ 3


  1. Payment shall be made after the paper acceptance.
  2. Fee payment is a prerequisite of manuscript publication. Accepted manuscripts will not be published until payment has been received.
  3. After the payment VAT invoice will be issued. Data necessary for issuing the VAT invoice shall be provided to editorial office of the Journal using the Editorial system Website.

§ 4


  1. In case of payment via Regular Money Transfer the payment date shall be the date when Institute’s account is credited.
  2. After crediting Institute with Fee in accordance with the Tariff of Fees mentioned hereinabove in § 2.2,
    the Submitting Author receives an email confirmation of the transaction to the address indicated in the Editorial system Website during submission.

§ 5


  1. Prior to selecting Electronic Payment Submitting Author shall verify if PayU services both the bank and the type of credit/debit card to be used in the transaction.
  2. After the valid electronic payment PayU shall send Submitting Author the e-mail with Electronic Payment confirmation.
  3. The Institute bears no responsibility if the Submitting Author supplies incorrect, false or misleading data or if the Submitting Author cannot access the Electronic payment portal because of using wrong browser, incorrect configuration of software or hardware.

§ 6


  1. In case of manuscript withdrawal taking place within 14 days of payment, Institute shall reimburse the full amount of Fee, subject to provisions hereunder.
  2. In order to receive reimbursement of Fee, Submitting Author shall send an appropriate request to the following e-mail address: editor@ipan.lublin.pl
  3. Fee reimbursement shall be issued to bank account the payment of Fee was issued from.
  4. Except the situation specified hereinabove in § 6.1-2 the manuscript withdrawal shall entail no Fee reimbursement.

§ 7


  1. In case of discrepancies in implementation of Payment Rules, Submitting Author may fill the complaint within 14 days from the day the event being a basis of the complaint occurred, whereas the date of filling the complaint shall be the date when Institute’s received the complaint.
  2. The valid complaint shall be sent to the following e-mail address: editor@ipan.lublin.pl and consist of:

  • complainant’s name and last name;
  • e-mail address for further contact;
  • cause of complaint;
  • detailed description of the event being a basis of the complaint;
  • amount of Fee paid.

  1. Complaints that are incomplete, submitted after the due date or in different form than required shall not be proceeded.
  2. Institute shall handle the complaint within 30 days since receiving the valid complaint.
  3. Submitting Author that filled the complaint shall cooperate with Institute in the scope required for handling the complaint, i.e. provide Institute with necessary document and information.
  4. Result of complaint proceedings shall be sent to the e-mail address specified in the complaint.

§ 8


  1. Payment Rules are available on Editorial system website.
  2. Before making payment, the Submitting Author accepts these Payment rules and simultaneously agrees that the Institute can process the Submitting Author
    personal data for the purposes related to publication process and issuing the invoice. The Submitting Author’s personal data will be kept confidential and not be used for other purposes.
  3. Payment Rules may be changed with all amendments published promptly on Editorial system Website.
