ABSTRACT
An original method to estimate the parameters of the soil water retention curve using (i) the standardized agrophysical characteristics (wilting point, hydroscopic property, particle density and bulk density) as an input dataset and (ii) an empirical dependence by Voronin is proposed. This method allows the creation of an alternative pedotransfer function.
