In 2026, International Agrophysics proudly celebrates its 40th anniversary!
For four decades, the journal has provided an international platform for sharing scientific knowledge and promoting interdisciplinary research in agrophysics, particularly in the field of the soil–plant–atmosphere system. Over four decades, we have published more than 1,000 scientific papers, which have received over 13,500 citations.
This special anniversary is also an opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, editors, members of the Editorial Board, and readers who have contributed to the journal's development and success over the years.

International Agrophysics is an Open Access journal published by the Institute of Agrophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences. The journal aims to enhance the understanding of soil-plant-atmosphere interactions through in-depth physical, biological, or chemical analysis, supported by insights from various disciplines within agricultural and natural sciences.

Thematic scope. The journal publishes original, novel research and review papers on any subject regarding soil, plant and atmosphere and the interface between these elements. Manuscripts on postharvest processing and quality of crops are also welcomed.
